What is USDA ReConnect?
The ReConnect Program offers loans, grants, and loan/grant combinations to facilitate broadband deployment in rural areas that do not currently have sufficient internet access. The rule will eliminate paperwork requirements and shorten the application process.

Background:
USDA’s ReConnect Program provides loans and grants to construct, improve or acquire facilities and equipment needed to provide broadband service in eligible rural areas. Under the Biden-Harris Administration, Rural Development provides loans and grants to help expand economic opportunities, create jobs and improve the quality of life for millions of Americans in rural areas.
